Mr. Malik Cader

Mr. Malik Cader was appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director of PMF Finance PLC with effect from 1st October 2025.

He was enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka in 1989 and is also a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales. He serves as a Commissioner for Oaths and a registered Company Secretary.

After practicing commercial law in Sri Lanka, Mr. Cader joined the senior management team of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) in 1997, where he rose to the position of Director General. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Director General and Director Legal of the SEC.

During his tenure, he gained extensive international exposure in securities regulation, liaising with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and engaging with leading global capital market institutions including the New York Stock Exchange, US SEC, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Singapore Exchange, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Australian Securities and Investments Commission, and many others.

He also served as a Director of the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka, Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Finance (appointed by the Cabinet in 2012), and as a Member of the Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standards Monitoring Board (SLAASMB).

Mr. Cader is a Past President of the Association of Corporate Lawyers and a Life Member of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka. In civic leadership, he has held senior roles with Junior Chamber International (JCI), including serving as National President of JCI Sri Lanka, World Vice President of JCI, and later Chairman of the JCI Senate Sri Lanka.

Earlier in his career, he also held senior management positions in marketing with leading corporates in the fields of consumer electronics, decorative paints, and industrial products.

Currently, he is the Head of Corporate Legal Consultants, a boutique legal consultancy specializing in securities law, insurance law, investment advisory, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity structuring, international contract drafting, and capital markets litigation.

Mr. K. M. D. B. Rekogama

Appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Independent Director with effect from 7thAugust 2024.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Mr. K. M. D. B. Rekogama brings a wealth of experience, with over 33 years in the fields of engineering and banking. He is a former banker, MSME consultant, engineer, and a lecturer at the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Sikkim Manipal University, National Diploma in Technology from the University of Moratuwa, Postgraduate Executive Diploma in Banking & Finance and Membership in the Institute of Incorporated Engineers, Sri Lanka (IIESL).

Current Appointments:

He is currently serving as a Director at Rekobiz Private Limited and a consultant specializing in engineering and financial solutions for MSME industries. He also provides consultancy services to national and multinational agencies for MSME sector. In addition, he represents in the CMA Sri Lanka SME Development as a committee member. 

Former Appointments:

He previously served as the Head of Microfinance and Head of Refinance & Special Lending Products at Hatton National Bank. Before joining HNB, he held various positions in several private engineering organizations specializing project management, Industrial sales/ marketing and workshop management. 

Mr. Kaluarachchige Dinesh Senaka De Silva

With more than 30 years of leadership experience, Dinesh De Silva has built a distinguished career transforming organizations into agile, diversified, and high-performing enterprises. His leadership philosophy centers on unlocking human potential, fostering innovation, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. He has successfully guided organizations through complex transitions expanding product portfolios, entering new markets, and building resilient operational ecosystems. His expertise spans strategy, finance, operations, innovation, sales and marketing, HR, and governance, underpinned by a proven record of delivering measurable business growth and cultural transformation.

Dinesh has held several senior executive and board-level positions within MAS Holdings, one of South Asia’s largest apparel and manufacturing conglomerates. As Chief Executive Officer of Bodyline (Pvt) Ltd and lntimate Fashions lndia Pvt Ltd, he led over 11,500 employees across Sri Lanka and lndia, managing an annual turnover exceeding USD 200 million. Under his leadership, the organization diversified its customer portfolio to include global brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Nike, Triumph, lululemon, and Levi’s, generating over USD 80 million in new revenue within four years. His strategic direction strengthened profitability, enhanced innovation capabilities, and embedded Lean and sustainable business practices that improved efficiency by 20%.

As Group Director of Lean Enterprise at MAS Holdings, Dinesh pioneered the establishment of the Lean Enterprise Division, reporting directly to the Chairman and the Apparel Board. He developed and implemented world-class Lean governance frameworks, policies, and standards across global operations, while launching the LIME (Leaders lntense MOS Experience) program to cultivate Lean leadership among senior executives. His initiatives trained and mentored over 1.,500 leaders, embedding a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the group.

Earlier in his career, as Director of Operations at MAS Active, Dinesh oversaw a network of manufacturing units with over 10,000 employees and a turnover of USD 150 million. He was instrumental in driving operational efficiency and doubling business growth through advanced production systems and Lean methodologies. His tenure as General Manager of Finance and Administration at Bodyline further strengthened his reputation for strategic financial management, human capital development, and process excellence-ach ievements that earned multiple national awards, including the National HRM Award and CIMA Sri Lanka’s Best Finance Team Award.

Beyond his corporate roles, Dinesh serves as a Director at MAS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd and as a board member of MAS Legato (Pvt) Ltd, the shared services and BPO arm of MAS Holdings. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of Fortitude Venture (Pvt) Ltd, a venture capital firm dedicated to inspiring, innovatinB, and igniting the potential of emerging startups. Through Fortitude Venture, he provides strategic investments, mentorship, and hands-on support to early-stage businesses, fostering innovation and sustainable growth in dynamic markets.

A Fellow Member of the Chartered lnstitute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK, Dinesh has also completed executive education programs at globally renowned institutions including the Center for Creative Leadership, The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, The Wharton School, the National University of Singapore, INSEAD, Henley Business School, and Hult Ashridge Executive Education. These programs have equipped him with advanced skills in strategic leadership, organizational transformation, and innovative business design.

Mr. Sanjika Perera

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Mr. Sanjika Perera is a seasoned Sales and Marketing professional with extensive international experience spanning Sri Lanka, South Asia, the United Kingdom, and Europe. He has a strong track record of driving business growth and enhancing profitability across multiple sectors including Financial Services, FMCG, Hospitality, and Travel Technology.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM UK and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the Association of Business Executives (UK). Mr. Perera is also currently pursuing his professional qualification as a CIMA/CGMA Gateway Student.

Former appointments:

Mr. Perera has held several senior leadership roles across diverse industries. He served as Director – UK & Ireland at the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, UK and Director – Business Development & Projects at Serendib Leisure Management Ltd (Hemas Group). He has also held key roles in business development and project management at organizations such as Kodak Singapore, HSBC Sri Lanka, and Hayleys Photoprint Ltd.

Current Appointments:

Since 2016, Mr. Perera has been serving as the Country Manager of Sabre Travel Network Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, where he leads strategic operations and market development in the travel technology sector.

Mr. Nemantha Abeysinghe

Appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director with effect from 1st July 2025.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Mr. Nemantha Abeysinghe is a dynamic, results-oriented professional with over 32 years of experience, including 26 years in senior leadership roles across both international and local organizations. He has extensive expertise in sales and marketing management, strategic planning, business development, and financial reporting.

He holds an Executive MBA from Asia E University of Malaysia, Executive Diploma in Business Administration from University of Colombo, and MSc in Strategic Marketing from Asia E University of Malaysia. He is also a Certified Green Building Professional and holds multiple professional credentials in business and marketing. Also Mr. Abeysinghe is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (UK), a Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), and a Member of the Certified Management Accountants (CMA), Australia.

Former appointments:

Mr. Abeysinghe has held several key positions in both operational and strategic capacities, including an operations Executive of UPS Delivery Systems (Pvt) Ltd, Export Executive and Export Manager of Forbes Services (Pvt) Ltd. He served as Marketing Manager at St. Anthony’s Industries Group (Pvt) Ltd and as General Manager Sales & Marketing of Harris Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd. He has also contributed to leadership development and regional engagement as the National President of Round Table Sri Lanka and as Asia Pacific Regional Chairman for Round Table & Apex.

Current Appointments:

Mr. Abeysinghe currently serves as a Director of Nippon Paint Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. During his long-standing tenure with the company, he has held multiple leadership roles including Manager, General Manager – Sales & Marketing, and Assistant General Manager – Sales & Marketing, playing a pivotal role in driving business growth and strengthening brand presence in the market.

Prof. Dewasiri Narayanage Jayantha

Prof. Dewasiri Narayanage Jayantha has been appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director of PMF Finance PLC, effective 21st October 2025.

Prof. (Dr.) Dewasiri N. Jayantha is a full Professor of Finance (on merit) at the Faculty of Management Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of sri Lanka, and the Honorary President of the Sri Lanka institute of Marketing’ With 17 years of senior industry experience before entering academia, he brings a rare blend of practical financial expertise and scholarly excellence. He was part of the pioneering team that introduced triangulation research approaches to the finance discipline in 2019, strengthening methodological rigour in the field. prof. Dewasiri has published over 70 scholarly articles in Scopus-indexed journals, including leading outlets such as Managerial Finance, Journal of Global lnformation Management, Qualitative Research in Financial Markets, Journal of Public Affairs, and lnternational Journal of Qualitative Methods He is the Founding Editor of the South Asian Journal of Marketing (Emerald Publishing), Senior Associate Editor of FHB Business Review (Q1 in Scopus, SAGE Publishing), and an Academic Editor of PLOS ONE (Q1 in Web of Science).

With a career spanning both the corporate and academic spheres, Prof Dewasiri brings strategic insight, governance acumen, and a proven track record in advancing financial sector knowledge and practice, qualities that a lign strongly with the responsibilities of an lndependent Director in the fianc6 industry. He obtained his phD in Finance from the University of Colombo, MSc in applied Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and BA (Hons) in Business from the Wrexham Glyndwer University, UK. Recently, he has been accredited as a Fellow Chartered Manager (FCMI CMgr) by the Chartered lnstitute of Management, UK and Fellow Membership of the Chartered lnstitute of Marketing, UK. Mr. Warnakula Jayasuriya Arachchige Nalin Prasad has been appointed as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of PMF Finance PLC, effective 04th November 2025.Mr. Nalin Warnakula is the Chief Financial Officer of ‘Sterling Automobiles Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.’ He is a dynamic and results-oriented executive with over 22 years of vast experience in deferent industries such as Automobiles, Apparel, Trading , Logistics, Leisure, Medical, Packaging etc. His proven expertise in strategic planning, financial management and corporate governance has driven many corporates to a sustainable business growth. He is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and also a Fellow member of Association of Business Executive of United Kingdom. He holds an MBA in Australian Institute of Business, Adelaide, Australia and Bsc. Business Administration (Finance Special) Degree in University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Having completed his training at KPMG, Sri Lanka; he has started his career as a Head of Finance and General Manager – Finance in Lidechsi group of companies in 2003. Then he joined to Apparel sector as a Chief Financial Officer at GC Lanka Clothing (Pvt) Ltd. Thereafter he continued his career growth by joining as Group Finance Manager of MRC Group of companies. He currently serving as Chief Financial Offcer of Sterling Automobiles Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
